In accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, by standardizing the salaries of all employees in the country according to the Gregorian calendar, and the decision of the General Organization for Social Insurance to consolidate the evaluation of private sector establishments for the performance of monthly contributions to be in accordance with the Gregorian calendar, to pay the benefits of beneficiaries and members of the family of retired pensioner in the Gregorian date as of 1 June 2018.
This was explained by the Organization’s spokesperson, Mr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Jabbar, who said that the Organization will deposit pensions in the accounts of beneficiaries and members of the family of retired pensioner at the beginning of each calendar month as of 1 June 2018. He pointed out that the Organization pays the monthly insurance pensions due to the beneficiaries in advance at the first of each month, as provided by the social insurance scheme so that the pension, which is disbursed the first month of June is the pension of June, and the pension, which spent the first month of July is the pension of July and so in all. He added that the Ramadan pension will be disbursed on time (1 Ramadan) and taking into account the needs of the beneficiaries for Eid Al Fitr, the Organization has chosen to start paying the pension from June which corresponded to 17th of the month of Ramadan, which means the disbursement of the Shawwal pension after only 17 days of payment of the pension of the month of Ramadan.
Al-Jabbar stressed that the Organization is keen to get insurance receivables to beneficiaries as soon as possible by transfer them with fast system to the bank accounts that have been identified by them in all regions and provinces of the Kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that the Organization pays monthly pensions amounting to (1,700,000,000) a billion and seven hundred million riyals while the number of beneficiaries is more than (360,000) three hundred and sixty thousand beneficiaries.
