The official spokesman of the General Organization for Social Insurance Mr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Abdul Jabbar said that there is no truth to what has been circulated recently in the media about preventing students from registering in the scheme in case of joining the labor market.
He stressed that the social insurance law allows the registration of students in the event of a real business relationship. The Organization strives to implement the insurance law properly and it is the responsibility of protecting the rights of contributors and follow-up employers and ensure the registration of all employees based on an actual working relationship through periodic follow-up a group of specialized staff in all the offices of the Organization. The Organization shall also notify each contributor registered in the scheme by sending an SMS containing information, name, membership number in the scheme, the registered wage, and the name of the registered entity, to ensure the accuracy and accuracy of its registration by the employer.
Al- Jabbar pointed out that the contributor is notified in case of change in the salary subject to participation or transfer to a new employer and also informing him of the completion of procedures for the payment of insurance receivables or temporarily suspended.
