Following the Issuance of the Council of Ministers’ resolution, GOSI and PPA Stress that Merging Process Has No Impact on Mechanism and Dates of Paying Insurance Benefits, Pensions and Contributions

The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and the Public Pension Agency (PPA) Agency expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on the issuance of the Council of Ministers’ Resolution merging PPA into GOSI.

In a statement on this occasion, the two entities said that the merging Resolution reflects the leadership’s keenness on merging entities with similar jurisdictions; utilizing financial and human resources in developing services; raising performance efficiency; and increasing productivity, especially since the two entities are entrusted with insurance coverage and pension payment for workers in public and private sectors.

The two entities pointed out that the merging is an administrative and organizational process that aims to ensure covering public and private sector employees under one insurance scheme, in addition to meeting aspirations of all contributors by providing high-standard services.

The two entities stressed that merging process will have no impact on the mechanism and dates of paying insurance benefits and pensions, as all services will continue to be provided via that same service channels with no changes to the procedures.

Concluding their statement, the two entities stressed that they will continue exerting efforts to accomplish more achievements in the social insurance sector in order to meet the interests of citizens and the country.
