The Insurance Protection Extension

Under the decision of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States approving the Unified Law of Insurance Protection Extension to GCC Member States Citizens Working in other GCC Member State, the Royal Decree No. (M/63) dated 26/11/1426H was issued approving the said Law. The Social Insurance Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become compulsorily applied to all Saudi workers in the private sector of any other GCC Member State effective from 01/01/2006. The worker enjoys all the benefits provided by the Annuities Branch of the Social Insurance Scheme, as being enjoyed by the Saudi worker in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
