Procedure Description:

The contributor who is no longer capable to work because of his health condition is paid a non-occupational disability pension by GOSI.

Procedure Conditions:

a.The disability occurs before attaining the age of sixty.

Procedure Description:

The Benifit Interchange law between the Civil and Military retirement schemes and the Social Insurance scheme issued by the Royal Decree No. (M/53) dated 23/07/1424 H. which was applied since 01/11/1424 H, represents a distinguished beginning that contributes to the service of contributors, maintains their rights and provides them with more comfort and welfare.

Procedure Conditions:

1. The contributor must submit his application within two years from the date of joining employment. 
2. The contributor must not have received a lump sum compensation or pension for that period. 
3. Period required to be aggregated must not be less than one year.
4. The age of the contributor must not exceed 59 when requesting period aggregation.
5. The pension to which the contributor is entitled under the first scheme should not be as a result of disability.
6. Aggregated contribution periods must not be supplementary periods entitling to a pension prior to the age of 60 in the last scheme. The contributor must complete the period required by the last scheme. This restriction is not applicable if the service was terminated as a result of disability, death or dismissal reasons.

Procedure Description:

The employer should notify the approved treatment body or the concerned GOSI office about the injury that was sustained by any of his workers whom is covered under the social insurance scheme.

Procedure Conditions:

1. The injured contributor worker should be registered under the social insurance scheme prior to the date on injury.
2. The injury should be reported within three days after the worker notifies his employer about the injury or after the employer takes note of its occurrence

The employer notifies GOSI competent office or the approved treatment body about the deterioration or complication that occurs to the injured contributor as a result of a previous work injury which already had been approved.

Procedure Conditions:

• Deterioration or complication occurs as a result of a previous work injury which already had been approved.

Note: In this case, it is not required for the injured contributor to be in employment at the time when the deterioration or complication occurs. 

Procedure Description:

It is a monthly benefit paid to an injured contributor for a disability rate of 50% to less than 100%.

Note: Determining the disability percentage is decided by competent GOSI medical boards.

Procedure Conditions:

1. The contributor is a Saudi national. 
2. The employment injury resulted in a partial permanent disability to the contributor by (50-99%).

Note: If the Medical Board decides that the injured contributor is in need of a constant assistance of others in the performance of his everyday life activities, the benefit will be raised by (50%) of the benefit amount, provided that the amount of such allowance does not exceed SR 3,500.
