Below are the list of services available across channels

Adding a Retroactive Period of Service.

Procedure Description:

GOSI previously gave a one year time limit as of 01/01/1428 H. to request retroactive registration of any previous period of service before the expiry of this time limit. After the expiry of this deadline, it will not be allowed to retroactively register any period, except in accordance with the conditions and controls set by the law.

Procedure Conditions:

-  Meeting the conditions to be mandatory subjected to the law for the worker and the employer during the period required to be registered in the light of documents considered satisfactory by GOSI. 
-  Registering must not be more than 24 months (as a maximum) preceding the date of submitting the request.

Voluntary Contribution

Procedure Description:

The voluntary contribution was created for contributor whose contribution payment was discontinued under the Annuities Branch and as a result could not longer meet the conditions to be mandatory subjected to the scheme. In order for him to apply for voluntary contribution, he must apply within the five year period from the date of leaving compulsory contribution by submitting a request to GOSI Field Office showing his willingness to continue his contribution voluntarily in the scheme. He may either wish to do that to complete the contributions period to be eligible for a retirement pension or in order to increase the period of his contribution to increase his pension.
 

Procedure Conditions:

Saudis can voluntarily contribute in the Annuities Branch if they are considered among the following categories: 
-    The person who is engaged in liberal professions such as physicians, engineers, etc. 
-    The person who conducts, for himself, or in partnership with others, a commercial, industrial, agricultural or service activity.
-    The tradesman such as a blacksmith, carpenter or plumber and the like on. 
-    The worker who is employed abroad but has no work relation with an employer who has a head office within the Kingdom.
-    The Saudi citizen working in foreign international, diplomatic or military missions in the Kingdom, if not being compulsorily covered.
The age of the voluntary contributor must not be less than 18 years or more than 60 years, unless he was previously engaged with GOSI scheme. In this latter case, he is entitled to contribute in the scheme regardless of his age at the time of application, except for the contributor who already was paid a pension for a previous period of contribution, whereas he must be under the age of 65 years.

Procedure Description:

Using this screen, the employer or the establishment supervisor can inquire about the possibility of issuing a certificate, and finds out the reasons for not issuing such certificate.

Procedure Description:

Using this screen, the voluntary contributor can calculate the estimated old-age pension (attaining the age of 60) or early retirement pension (completing a period of 300 months).

View Employer Account Details

Procedure Description:

Using this screen, the employer or the establishment supervisor can view the establishment account details, as well as the details of branches, balance of the creditor and debtor, fines and distribution.

Register a new establishment/branch in GOSI

Procedure Description:

-    The establishment is the legal entity through which the employer conducts his activity and which bears his name or the commercial name of such an activity.
-    In accordance with the provisions of the law issued in this regard, it is necessary to register the private establishment employing one worker or more. 
-    After the completion of registration, the establishment has the right to benefit from the services provided by the social insurance scheme, such as obtaining GOSI Certificate (a certificate proving the registration with GOSI). The establishment can also subscribe in GOSI-Online website and take advantage of the electronic services. 

Note
• It is necessary to make sure that there are no violations that prevent the employer from obtaining a GOSI certificate. 
• It is necessary for the person applying for a GOSI certificate to have a written authorization from the employer. 

 

Procedure Conditions:

The Establishment must be a company, establishment or a commercial activity carrying out its business within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ownership of the Establishment must be to an individual, an institution or a company.

Terminating Establishment Activity

Procedure Description:

Each case of termination of activity of employer who is in dept to GOSI is submitted to the competent department in GOSI Head Office attached with documents and inspection reports that demonstrate that the activity has stopped. In lights of such documents, the case is presented to the Governor of GOSI to determine the date on which the activity is stopped in terms of the relation between the employer and GOSI. As for any establishment that ends its activity with zero account or in dept, its activity will be terminated by the relevant GOSI Field Office.

Procedure Conditions:

- Announcing the death of the individual establishment owner.  
- Announcing bankruptcy of the owner, or issuing a verdict of financial strait of the owner. 
- Terminating of establishment and entry into liquidation or merger with others; either by the Corporation Act, previous agreement, establishment contract, legal verdict or decision made by one of the competent administrative agencies.
- Quitting by the owner of his activity actually and permanently for any reason.


* The termination of establishment activity is proven in previous cases by investigation, a report from the inspector, submitting a certificate stating that the commercial register of the establishment had been removed, or other documents supporting the termination of the activity according to circumstances.
