The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) would like to announce to secondary school graduates (natural sciences) of this year and the pervious year that they can now join GOSI Scholarship Program to USA for Bachelor Degree in the majors indicated in the following table. The program offers scholarships that end with an employment with GOSI.

General Requirements
1. General Secondary Certificate of the current year (natural sciences) with a GPA no less than 90%. Graduates of 1430 H. may be accepted upon the following:
• Student should be currently enrolled in one of the Ministry of Higher Education universities and completed at least two semesters with a GPA no less than 3.75 of 5 or an equivalent.
• If the student is studying overseas (at his own expense), he should obtain one of the following:
• 500 points of TOFEL or 5 points of IELTS.
• Final approval from any US university recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education.
• Student should be available in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period of 28/07/1341 H. to 16/08/1431 H. to have the interview and complete the procedures.
2. General Abilities Examination with no less than 65% and the Standard Achievement Test with no less than 70%.
3. English Language Test (administered by the National Center for Assessment in Higher Education as of 03/08/1431 H.). For more details, please visit National Center for Assessment in Higher Education webpage (www.qiyas.org).
4. Between 18-20 years of age at the time of submission, according to Gregorian calendar.
5. Residing in or near the city of employment after graduation. Student must submit documents proving his residency; such as house title, electricity bill or land-line telephone bill.
6. Pass the interview and medical test.
7. Sign a pledge to work with GOSI for no less than the period spent during the scholarship, and provide a guarantor.
8. Student and the guarantor must sign a pledge to bear all expenses paid by GOSI during the application phase in case the student withdraw himself from the program during or after the completion of scholarship procedures.
Application Schedule:
• Data registration phase in GOSI webpage starts from 03/05/1431 H. to 16/08/1431 H. During this phase, the student may submit his application online at (http://www.gosi.gov.sa/portal/web/guest/scholarship):
• Submission of documents phase starts from 28/07/1431 H. to 19/08/1431 H. During this phase, the student submits all the required documents to GOSI offices.
o GOSI (head office), King Abdulaziz Road, starting from 28/07/1431 H., from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM during workdays. On Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
o GOSI filed offices (Jeddah, Dammam, Makkah, Najran, Hafer Elbaten and Asser) during business hours from (07:30 AM to 02:30 PM).
