Proactive-Services
They are services that GOSI seeks to provide before the user submits his request and without the need to visit GOSI field offices. For example, GOSI will not need to wait for the (female) survivor to apply for the marriage grant or add a family member as well as for the employer to add foreign workers as contributors, but rather the service will be processed as soon as the event occurs (such as marriage, new baby born or any worker joins the employer.

Marriage grant to a female family member
GOSI provides the female family member upon her marriage with a marriage grant amounting to 18 times her pension share. Now, this service is proactively provided without the need for the female survivor to submit her application to GOSI field office.

Redistribution of pension on the death of a family member
When a family member of the beneficiary dies, the pension is immediately redistributed among the remaining family members without the need to submit a request.

Exclusion of a deceased survivor, married female survivor or employed survivor from the survivors of the retiree
In the event of the survivor death, female survivor marriage or survivor joining employment, he/she is excluded from the list of eligible survivors without the need to submit an application.

Exclusion of an employed survivor from the family members of the deceased contributor
When a family member of the deceased contributor joins employment, he is directly excluded from the entitled survivors without the need to submit an application.
